Show 5 ' Children Accompanied by Parents Get Free Tickets The Retail Merchants committee of the Chamber Cham-ber of Commerce is sponsoring a Back to School special spec-ial event the remainder of this week and next inviting S townspeople to patronize local business bus-iness establishments. To every boy and girl who accompanies ac-companies his mother or father or an adult into the stores of participating par-ticipating merchants, in Springville Spring-ville Friday and Saturday and next week, will be given a free ticket to the picture show next Friday, September 8. The show begins at 3 p.m. at the Rlvoli. Special advertising will be seen in the Springville Herald this week sponsored by the participating merchants and citizens are urged to patronize these stores and business busi-ness houses and compare the values val-ues offered with any found elsewhere else-where in the county. A majority of Springville business1 busi-ness1 houses put forth special effort ef-fort to accomodate the people of Springville and others who come here to trade and all they ask in return is an opportunity to be of service to the shopping public. School children of all eges will be needing new wearing apparel for the opening' of school. Local merchants ask that local supplies be inspected for price and quality. They have stocked their shelves and display windows and storage space, with a good supply of the things needed for the opening of school and for the remainder of the school year. It is the local merchant mer-chant who pays taxes with which to build this community. He is called upon to make contributions to every drive; to assist with all community projects. It is fair and smart business to patronize those people who patronize this town, by trading at home whenever when-ever possible. Many people have developed a habit of traveling several miles to get some item or items which may be obtained at the same price and with much less effort locally. Retail Re-tail merchants of Springville are asking that consideration be given home-town stores first and it will not be necessary to trade elsewhere., |
