Exciting nuptial news this week tells of the engagement of pretty Miss June Thorn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul A. Thorn of Springville and Robert Arbon, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. F. Arbon of Los Angeles, Calif. The wedding is being planned for the first week in April to take place in the Salt Lake Temple. A sophomore at the Brigham Young University, June is affiliated affil-iated with the Val Norn social, unit. Robert is a graduate of Occidental College at Glendale, Calif.,' and is presently working on his Masters degree at the University of California at Los Angeles. He recently filled an LDS mission to France. , Celebrating their engagement, the couple were special guests at the AGC annual party in Salt Lake City recently and the following fol-lowing morning were honored guests at a breakfast at Hotel Utah for members of the immediate family. Also on the occasion of June's birthday recently, more than thirty near relatives and friends called to extend congratulations and brought her many beautiful gifts for her trousseau. |
