Show Springville Girl Is Wed To Ogden Man; Reception In Salt Lake City A wedding of interest to friends here is that of Miss Norma Thorpe of Salt Lake City, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Thorpe of Springville, to Ralph ; "Rnmprk rf Op'rion Wed In Temple ... i , The weding took place in the Salt Lake temple last Friday, November No-vember 9, with Elder Harold B. Lee officiating. The same evening a wedding reception in the 13th ward in Salt Lake honored the couple, with a number of relatives rela-tives and friends attending from Springville. The bride was attired in a charming wedding gown of white satin with bead trim, made with peplin and long train. Her veil of English imported net hung from a tiera of seed-pearls. Attending the bride were Mrs. Esther Perry of Mapleton, as matron ma-tron of honor, while the bride's sister, Mrs. Arthella Warner. Mrs. Charles Barneck of Salt Lake; Mrs. Shirley Brailsford, Mrs. Ruth Whiting of Springville, were bridesmaids. They were attired in pastel colored formals with flowers in matching shades. In the line also were parents of the bride and the groom's grandmother, grand-mother, Mrs. Freshwater, and the bride's grandmother, Mrs. Wm. H. Nielson of Spanish Fork. The bride is a graduate of the Springville high school, and attended at-tended the Brigham Young university uni-versity before going to the North Central states on an LDS mission.
