She has been active in Relief Society and in Primary work for a number of years. She had served serv-ed as a member of the Black Hawk committee and as chaplain of the DUP Camp Sierra Bonita. Besides her husband, she is survived sur-vived by three sons, Russell Thorpe of Long Beach, Calif.; Morris Thorpe and Shirley Thorpe of Springville; four grandchildren; her father and step-mother of Springville; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Bes-sie Averett, Springville; Mrs. Fay S. Kaiser, California; two brothers, Ted Strong, Provo; Guy Strong, Boulder City, Nev. |
