Arnold Machine Co. Holds Lead in Merchant Bowling Arnold Machinery won a 3-1 victory vic-tory over Art Bowling- in the Merchant Mer-chant league to take a firm lead in league bowling. Springville Herald moved up to a tie with Smitties for second place with both clubs getting get-ting a clean 4-0 sweep over their opponents. Clarence Smith walked off with high single game bowling honors with Arville Child beating Wallace Patrick and Angus Olsen out for high series. Patrick placed four pins below Child for second. Lloyd Whitehead was second in the singles sin-gles with Patrick getting third.
