Show Poultrymen Share In Interest Pay Farmers and poultrymen of this area shared in the $50,000 payment pay-ment on interest distributed during the last week by the Utah Poultry and Farmers Cooperative. The distribution of these checks brings the total repayments to members of Utah Poultry during the 12 months of 1950 to $219,809, according to a report to the directors direc-tors by C. K. Ferre, auditor and assistant secretary. Patronage payments made by Utah Poultry during the 27 years it has served farmers and poultry-men poultry-men in Utah now totals more than 4V2 million dollars, according to Mr. Ferre. These patronage payments pay-ments represent additional income on the sale of eggs for which 1 members had already received top market prices, and additional savings sav-ings on supplies which they had purchased at lowest market prices, j These payments are made an-; j nually through declaration by the board of directors of this member- j owned and member-controlled or-ganization or-ganization which included 6000 ; members in Utah and Southern j Idaho. ! President of the board is Alton S. Gadd of Nephi; P. Oliver Han- j sen of Spanish Fork. Leon Fors-gren Fors-gren of Preston, and William H. j Schorr of Midvale are vice-presidents.
