Show Enthusiastic 'Schoolagers' in Close Race Competition Keen As Contestants Vie for Top Spot HERE THEY ARE! The names of those TOP NOTCH kids of Springville who are out to win the big prizes and earn the valuable commissions offered in the School Age contest sponsored by the Springville Herald. It will help the contestant win a prize and he or she will never forget you for it. While Rulon Condie won the $5 cash prize offered the first week to the contestant bringing in the most subscriptions, the other contestants are closely bunched in the race for the $10 cash award next week in addition to piling up votes for the big prizes. Every contestant is making every minute count to gain the highest numbers of votes by deadline dead-line time of the second week, Saturday Sat-urday night. With such top-notch kids working work-ing for prizes plus cash, anything ! can happen. Some of the boys and girls who were down the first week can, with work, be right on top the second week as their salesmanship improves. Boys and girls who were ahead the first week did it with hard work and steady plugging making every minute of their spare time count. Many of the contestants gave up good times in order to stay on the job the full three weeks of the contest. Some are spending time writing to relatives and friends out of town urging them to help them win votes. Parents and friends are also lending a helping hand to see their favorite in top spot in the contest. With all these junior citizens doing do-ing their best to win top spot, it is up to everyone to help. NOW IS THE TIME. |
