Show 'SpringviIle Girls Take Part in Nurse Ceremonies This week, Ann Frandsen and Ann Black of SpringviIle took part in the capping ceremony for student stu-dent nurses at St. Mark's hospital. The ceremony took place at Spalding Spal-ding Hall of St. Marks Cathedral. Three achievement award scholarships schol-arships were given by the medical staff at St. Marks hospital to the students receiving their caps. Ann Frandsen was one of the three girls receiving these awards of a hundred dollars each. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Frandsen, Evelyn Frandsen, Mr. and Mrs. Merle Black, George and Marie Black, Kathryn Degn, Mary De-Heer, De-Heer, Evelyn Cameron, and Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Chidester (Kay Beach), were among the local people who went up for the ceremony. cere-mony. Ann is vice-president of her nursing class. Both SpringviIle girls took part in the chorus which sang vocal numbers. |
