Show Stockholders in S.S. Steel Corp. Show Increase There were more than 273,000 United States Steel Corporation j stockholders in May 1952; compared com-pared with approximately 270,000 three months before. In both instances in-stances the figures allow for duplication dupli-cation of holders of the two classes of stock. Common stockholders of record on May 9, 1952, numbered 216,103, an increase of 3,252 since February 8, 1952. On February 8, 1952, there were 212,851 common stockholders, stock-holders, an increase of 3,727 since November 9, 1951. Prefered stockholders of record on May 6, 1952, totaled 72,367. a decrease of 352 since February 4, 1952. On February 4, 1952, there were 72,719, a decrease of 62 since November 5, 1951. follows: 2600 cu. yds. unclassified excavation; 100 cu. yds. select borrow; 90.94 cu. yds. concrete for bridge; 455 cu. yds. concrete for retaining walls; 15,067 lbs. reinforcing re-inforcing steel for bridge; 64,758 lbs. reinforcing steel for retaining walls; 46 linear feet handrails for bridge; 360 linear feet railing for retaining walls. Instructions to bidders, specifications, specifi-cations, and forms for contract and bond, together with plans when prepared, may be obtained upon application at the Office of the City Recorder upon deposit of five ($5.00) dollars, which will be forfeited unless a bid is submitted sub-mitted or plans and specifications are returned in good condition to the Office of the City Recorder not less than twenty-four hours before bids are opened.
