Ccffman, Jr., 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn W. Coff-man, Coff-man, Sr., 270 East First South Street, graduated this week from the 9th class of the Engineer Officers Of-ficers Candidate School, Fort Bcl-voir, Bcl-voir, Va. He was awarded a commission com-mission as a second lieutenant in the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers. En-gineers. Lt. Ccffman has been in the Army for 18 months. A 1949 graduate of Springville high school, he went on to attend the Utah State Agricultural College prior to entering the service. Closed since World War II. the Engineer Officer Candidate' School was reopened in September, 1951, as a 22-week course. With a peak enrollment" of 1,000, the Engineer OCS expects to train 1,600 now engineer officers in it's first year! of operation. During World War , II over 25,000 engineer officers were trained by the Engineer OCS. At Tuesday's graduation ceremonies, cere-monies, Major General Carl R.
