Show Lions To Hear Health Officer Speak Tonight The health and welfare committee commit-tee of the Lions club will be in charge of the meeting this evening even-ing at Kapp's Melody Inn, announces announ-ces President Marvin Warren. Kay Johnson, chairman, A. H. Morten-sen, Morten-sen, G. W. Friel and Dr. Norman L. Parker comprise the committee. They have secured Dr. C. A. Smith of Provo, city-county health director as the speaker and he will discuss health problems as they effect this area. A male quartet from the high school will furnish music. President Warren reports that the band concert to raise funds for the band risers was a success and sufficient funds were raised to complete the project. The club is proud to furnish the risers to facilitate fac-ilitate the work of the band and the band in turn appreciates the efforts of this progressive civic organization. |
