Show Newlyweds Make Home Here After California Wedding, Reception Now at home in Springville after a June wedding in California are Mr. and Mrs. Max Blaine Bcardall. They exchanged vows in a pretty church wedding in Monterey June 19, and were honored later with a wedding reception attended by about 300 guests. Max Blaine is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Max C. Bcardall of Springville and his wife, the former Josephine Catherine Verni, is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Angi Verni of Monterey. The bride was beautifully gowned in a white net over satin with lace trim and full floor-length skirt. Her veil of net was scalloped scal-loped in lace and was arranged to a seed-pearl and sequin studded cap. She carried a bridal bouquet of rose-buds, centered with an orchid. Her attendants, Mrs. Joe Smith, matron of honor and brides-mafds, brides-mafds, Joan Verni and Bella Verni all of Monterey wore pastel colored formals and their flowers were carnations tented to match their dresses. Also in the receiving line were parents of the bride and groom, Mrs. Verni weaving navy blue and Mrs. Beardall, pink with corsages cor-sages of orchids. Joe Smith, a friend of the groom, served as best man. After the wedding reception, the couple left on a few days-honeymoon days-honeymoon at Lake Tahoe and also spent some time in Las Vegas, Nev., and they visited the groom's foster sister, Mrs. Paul Brailsford in McGill, Nev. Max Blaine has been in the service the past two years, part of the time being spent in Germany. They are living in Springville as he plans to enroll in school this fall. |
