Show One of the wood carvings by Joseph Goethe, right and left, a beautiful still life by Rose Howard Salisbury, seen in the 1957 April Art Exhibit. Mr. Goethe's carvings ' which have been exhibited in some of the larger museums throughout the country combine com-bine a modern touch with an ancient technique resulting in some interesting studies in even more interesting woods. He follows the wood vein in his sculpturing, later giving his pieces a high polish. Mrs. , Salisbury's entry is symbolic of the fine oils entered by Utah and out-of-state exhibitors exhi-bitors this year. -, , . ; 1 f r . : - 4 "k 1 -asSaawa''' |
