Show It Marion Halliday of Provo, Lions District Gov. who will make his official visit here tonight at anniversary banquet-program. Lions Club To Observe Nth Birthday Marion Halliday of Provo District Governor of Lions, will make his official visit to the Springville Club this evening. (Thursday), at 7:30 p.m., at the Melody Inn. It will be a ladies night birthday anniversary dinner din-ner and program. In charge of arrangements for the meeting are members of the anniversary committee composed of Wayne Cutler, chairman, assisted by Otto Fry, Eldon Palfreyman and Granl Robbins, who report this to be the eleventh annivei-sary oJ Lion organization and activity in Springville. Furnishing music for the evening eve-ning will be the Roving Club, directed by Vaun Holdaway of Linden. The Lady Lions will be in charge of special table decorations. decora-tions. Guest speaker of the evening has served in numerous capacities capaci-ties in the Lions organization including Provo club president in 1951. He has also served the district as cabinet secretary and treasurer, zone chairman and deputy district governor. His district, the largest mileage area in Utah, comprises 2',' clubs from Lehi to Nephi and from Vernal to Monticello. |
