Show Local People in BYU Magazine In the May-June Brigham Young Alumnus publication, announcement an-nouncement is made along with a photograph of the election of Mrs. Jennie Palfreyman Clyde, wife of W. W. Clyde of this city, as second vice president of the Alumni Association. She succeeds Mrs. Eunice Bird Wad-ley- . Mrs. Clyde has served as a member of the executive committee com-mittee of the association the past two years. President of the Association is G. Robert Ruff with D. Crawford Houston, first vice president. The new president succeeds Grant S. Thorn of this city, who will remain a member of the executive committee and chairman chair-man of the Alumni Center committee. com-mittee. Others Saluted In the same issue of the magazine, mag-azine, Mrs. Ora Packard Clyde, wife of the governor, is saluted as a member of the 1918 graduating grad-uating class from Springville; Mrs. Virginia Eggertsen Soren-son Soren-son of the class of 1934 and Newell B. Weight of the class of 1938. , From the Class of 1947 Omar Hansen, formerly with the high school faculty here, is cited; as is Douglas C. Brown, presently living with his wife, the former June Greer and their three children in Tripoli, North Africa, Af-rica, where they have spent the past three years with the government gov-ernment Point 4 program. |
