Show WHEELERS HOLD FAMILY PROGRAM In honor of their mother, the late Ellen M. Wheeler, whose birthday occurred recently, her children and their families presented pre-sented a program in the Fourth Ward Relief Society, Tuesday afternoon. af-ternoon. Mrs. Bell Childs was charge and gave an appropriate verse as an introduction to the entertainment. Mrs. Ella Reynolds, Rey-nolds, Mrs. Hilda Cherrington, Mrs. Inez Parker, Bell and Ned '" " Childs sang, "Smiles Will Return , to You." Mrs. Dorothy .Wheeler gave a reading; Mrs. Walt Wheeler Wheel-er of Provo, piano solos; Vera Wheeler, vocal solo; Mrs. Ella Reynolds gave "Poems That Mother Moth-er Loved"; Fred Childs, a clarinet clari-net solo; Mrs. Ella Reynolds, Mrs. Hilda Cherrington, Mrs. Inez Wheeler and Mrs. Bell-Childs, a double duet. Mrs. Cherrington, in remembrance remem-brance of her mother, presented the Relief Society library with a lovely book. Mrs. Bell Childs read a poem paying tribute to her mother; Mrs. Inez Wheeler and Miss Helen Palfreyman, gave a vocal duet; i:-s. David Wheeler, "Aunt Mary," gave a short talk. Miss lone Averett accompanied the musical numbers. In closing, Mrs. Childs read a poem. The opening prayer was given by Mary Wheeler and the benediction bene-diction by Mrs. Birdella Bearnson. I |
