Show MRS. MAE SMITH SERVICES HELD Funeral services for Mrs. Fair-osina Fair-osina Mae Smith, 58, wife of Jerd Smith, who died here Friday, Fri-day, were held Sunday in the First ward chapel. Bishop A.G. Peterson had the services in charge. The speakers were William Wainwright, Frank Hanks of Salem and Bishop Peterson. Music was furnished by Mrs. Helen San-ford San-ford who gave a vocal solo, accompanied accom-panied by Miss Annie Fox. Frank Bjarnson gave two vocal solos and Mr. and Mrs. Guy Brown rendered a vocal duet, accompanied by Mrs. Lola Weight. The invocation was offered by Bishop Earl Sumsion of the Second Sec-ond ward and the benediction bv Daniel Witney. John Robinson dedicated the grave at the Salem cemetery. Mrs. Smith was bom in Bingham, Bing-ham, August 24, 1879, a daughter of John B. and Martha A. Hatch Cornwall. She was active in L. : D. S. church work and had been j a Relief Society teacher for 25 years. Surviving besides her husband, are a daughter, Lucille Smith, and her mother of Salem. |
