Show High School News Items BY HELEN KELSEY One would scarcely recognize the bare rooms of the high school now. They have been transformed into lovely visions with bright tinsel, red and green streamers, gayly decorated Christmas trees, and fat and jolly Santa Clauses. The students have cooperated with the teachers in decorating the rooms to give the real holiday spirit. The mixed chorus clans is working work-ing on a Christmas Cantata to be presented Christmas Eve at the First ward chapel. The high school has been reinforced rein-forced with new teachers to help some of the faculty members. They are: Helen Clark to help with the English department; La Cell Sumsion for shop; Vernon Condie for physical education. The advanced foods and nutrition nut-rition class is planning a party to entertain the kiddies, Monday, December 17. Entertainment and treats to thrill the young ones are being planned. The B. Y. U. held a journalistic meert Saturday for the school paper editors and business managers, man-agers, yearbook editors and business busi-ness managers of the schools in i Utah, Idaho, and Nevada. Seven from Springville attended. Much ! helpful information was given. j Afterwards, those who had at- ! tended were given lunch and a show ticket. |
