Show Pilot Eases Down Big Craft Safely ALBUQUERQUE, N. M., Aug. 24 (tj.i!) A TWA transport plane which landed in a pasture four miles north of -here early today, injuring two of 11 on board, was forced down by engine trouble, airport officials announced. The eastbound ship was within two miles of the Albuquerque airdrome air-drome when one of the twin motors "cut out" and Pilot Harold G. Hess of Kansas City nosed the craft into an expansive, level mesa, authorities were told. Mrs. Q. R. Smith and her son. Quinton, 9, of Los Angeles, suffered suf-fered minor bruises when the plane jolted over the rutted surface. |
