Show SP'VILLE DAY ' AT NEPHI ENCAMPMENT If plans mature as scheduled, Moroni Miner of this city who celebrated his one-hundredth birthday on June 4, will compete for the honor of being the oldest old-est Black Hawk Indian war veteran vet-eran in attendance, at the annual state Black Hawk encampment at Nephi Angst 13, 14, 15 and 16, committee members reports. It' possible, Mr. Miner, will speak a few words at the program, furnished furn-ished by Springville, Wednesday night at 8 o'clock. In addition to Mr. Miner's talk, other program numbers are scheduled sched-uled t obe given as follows, readings, read-ings, Margaret Bird; vocal solos, Mrs. Ellen Anderson; dance selections, selec-tions, Tess C. Packard; talk Aaron Aar-on Mendenhall, Mapleton; instrumental instru-mental music, Jaesm Curtis, Mapleton; selection, Mapleton male quartet; vocal selections, the Wranglers; cornet trio, Richard Rich-ard Loveridge, Richard Oakley and Jay Robertson; selections, the Springville high school band, under the direction of Delmar Dickson. |
