Show SOCIETY NEVS major operation at the L. D. S. ho.spitaL Mrs. Ralph B. Weight returned Friday from a week's visit with her sister, Mrs. G. D. Kennedy and family at Salina. She was accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Kennedy's daughters Gale and Glenna who .spent the day here. Mr. and Mrs. Harvard Osmund and children of Washington D. C. are visiting Mrs. Osmund's mother Mrs. G. S. Condie and other relatives rela-tives and friends here, and in Provo. They spent about two months on their way here visiting places of interest in Texas and Oklahoma. Mrs. Millie Martin accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Harold Jensen and daughter, and Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Johnson of Spanish Fork ; and Clarence Jensen of Provo, re-turned re-turned Friday from several days' visit at Yellowstone National park, i They returned by way of the Jackson Jack-son Hole country. Mrs. Mary Huish and son Richard, Rich-ard, of Oakland, Calif., have returned re-turned to their home after a visit ni five weeks with Mrs. Huish's parents, Mr. and Mi's. M. W. Executive officers of the First ward deacons quorums met at the home of Wilford Manwaring Wednesday Wed-nesday evening to outline plans lor an increased attendance at the quorums meetings. Raymond Parker of Tacoma, Wash., plans to leave Monday for ; his home after two weeks vacation vaca-tion with relatives and friends here. Miss June Horton of St. Louis Park, Minn., has been visiting Miss Yvonne Baker in this city the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Nels iNelson of the same city have been the guests of Mr, and Mrs. L. L. Baker. Mr. and Mrs. Bert West and family are spending the week at Yellowstone National Park. Miss Geraldine Eggertsen announces an-nounces the opening of a six weeks dramatic art class for children chil-dren of all ages, August first. Miss Eggertsen is a senior at B. j Y. U. and has been very active in dramatic art which is her major. |
