Show AG, CLUB BOYS HOLD SOCIAL WITH FATHERS With about 60 Future Farmers and their fathers in attendance, the annual "dads' and sons" get-together get-together social was held Monday night, at Valley Tavern. Bert Cherrington, president of the ag club, was master of ceremonies and Ruel Crandall, toastmaster. The program included talks by President Cherrington on what vocational agriculture had meant lo him; a report of his recent trip to the west coast, where he went to sell a carload of beef, by Keith Boyer, and remarks on the value of various phases of vocational agriculture training, by Principal W. W. Brockbank, Instructor W. H. Anderson, A. W. Cherrington and Vern Crandall. Elden Mackley entertained with j vocal selections; Douglas Brown I and Bert Cherrington, clarinet duet; Reed Garlick, a trombone; solo. Miss Evelyn Mackley was accompanist. |
