Show ! Local I 'fi :je Miss Frances Brimhall of this ' city, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Brimhall is convalescing from a recent operation for appendicitis which she underwent at a local hospital. City officials are in receipt of a communication from the Associated Asso-ciated Civic clubs of northern Utah and the Salt Lake City chamber of commerce, stating that the groups will be in Spring-vi Spring-vi lie Friday, September 18, at 3:30 p. m. on a good will tour of this part of the county. The time of their arrival coincides with that of the parade for the anniversary anni-versary celebration and a large crowd is expected to be in town to view the parade and greet the visitors. A Bee-Hive committee institute will be held in - the Fourth ward chapel Saturday at 7:30 p. m., to discuss Bee-Hive activities for the coming year. All Bee-hive workers in the stake are urged to be present. A continuation of the discussions will be held in connection with the regular union meeting at the high .school Sunday Sun-day afternoon. Announcement comes from the high school that students hereafter here-after will not be allowed to use the office phone. Parents are also asked to cooperate with the high school faculty in eliminating the loss of time and annoyance caused caus-ed by phone calls and discontinue calling students s in the phone. When the call is absolutely necessary nec-essary the message will be taken and delivered to the student. |
