Show iSharman Victor Over Buddy ling En Lively Bout Hy Sharman came off the winner win-ner in the feud with Buddy King, Tuesday night at Park Ro-She arena. Hy won the first fall in 18 minutes with a body slam, but King came back with a series of vicious whip wristrocKS to slam in five minutes, finishing off with a body press. Wily, old Hy watched watch-ed for his chance hereafter. Taking Tak-ing Budcy unaware after Arcade Pierce, the referee had been drop-I drop-I ped cold with a kick to the chin,- Hy smacked Buddy back of the ear, to get the third and deciding match. Kenny Mayne and Bull Keener went hammer and tongs in the other bout, Mayne taking the match, the first fall in eight minutes min-utes on a step over toe hold and the second in eight minutes, re-, peat order. Keener was a typical villain with choke holds, hair-pulling hair-pulling and other roughhouse tactics. Max Young knocked Matt Daley out in the third round of the scheduled si'x round fight after he caught Daley off balance on a wild swing. The first two rounds were fast, both boys trading punches toe to toe without a letup. Max Daley decisioned young Lou Petro in an exciting four round bout. Max had Lou down in the second and third and also at the bell in the fourth. While Lou was unquestionably not in the best of shape, Daley was clearly superior. Slim Bcardall won a decision over Kid Pearce in tile opener. |
