Show SERVICES HELD THURSDAY FOR DIM1CKCH1LDS The Fourth ward chapel was filled to capacity Thursday at funeral services for Dimick Childs who died suddenly Monday from a heart attack. A. G. Thorn of the ward bishopric bishop-ric presided at the services. The speakers all of whom spoke highly of their association with Mr. Childs and of his splendid character, were: A. R. Creer and Clyde Trevort of the Strawberry Water Users association, of which Mr. Childs was president; Hilton Robertson of the stake presidency, Superintendent Wm. T. Tew of the seminary, and Ed Payne, superintendent super-intendent of the Sunday school. Miss Helen Palfreyman gave a vocal solo as did also Ed. Williams Wil-liams of Spanish Fork; Ralph Weight and Will Parry gave an instrumental duet; Mr. and Mrs. Guy Brown, a vocal duet; Harold and Glenn Holley, a vocal duet! and Helen Palfreyman and Ineq Parker a vocal duet. The invocation was by R. L. Bird, and the benediction by Will Flygare. Leo Robertson dedicated the grave at the Evergreen ceme. try. Th high Triests quorum, of which Mr. Childs was a member, also water officials attended the services in separate groups. |
