Show DETROIT HOTEL STRIKE ENDED DETROIT, March 17 d.n) Four of Detroit's principal hotels operated oper-ated on a normal service b'asTs today under a compromise agreement agree-ment for employes to return to work pending final settlement of issues which precipitated a 38-hour 38-hour sit-down at one hotel and a 17-hour lockout at thr"s others. The labor dispute left approximately approxi-mately 2,500 patrons of the Stat-ler, Stat-ler, Book-Cadillac, Fort Shelby and Detrit-Leland hotels with no more comforts than they were able to provide for themselves. The compromise was reached in a five-hour conference; last night of Mayor Frank Couzens and representatives of the Wotel Association and the Waiters' and Waitresses' association. The agreement set- up a Uzree-man Uzree-man arbitration board, to orgrln deliberation not later than Thursday Thurs-day night, with full power of final judgment. I . |
