Show Local j Elementary grade pupils were vaccinated for small pox here, Tuesday and Wednesday. On Friday Fri-day the high school students .will be vaccinated. Dr. P. R. Bowdish of the Utah county health unit is in charge. The wide spread epidemic of measles and mumps, prevailing here since the holidays seems to be under control, with the school attendance at-tendance nearly back to normal, it is reported. The regular well baby clinic was held here W ednesday afternoon with Dr. P. R. Bowdish in charge. I Rapheal Palfreyman, who recently re-cently returned from the British mission, gave a splendid talk in the Fourth ward chapel, Sunday evening. The ninety-second anniversary of the organization of Relief societies so-cieties was observed with special programs in the First, Third and' Fourth wards Saturday evening and on Friday evening by the Second ward. Mrs. Mae Huntington was elected elect-ed on the Mothers' Study art and finance club committee fast week, instead of Mrs. Mae Fletcher as 1 was announced. Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Reynolds and Mrs. Dell Brimhall of this city also Dr. F. Frank Reynolds of Provo attended the funeral services serv-ices of Mrs. Mary Whittaker at the Central ward chapel in Salt Lake City on Sunday, March IS. |
