Show Down Town Fish Grab, Bonfire Program Features 2 -day Outing A good time is in store for everyone men, women, boys, girls, children and adulls, at the big annual sportsmen's outing to be held on Saturday and Sunday at Balsam park, Hobble Creek, announces President Reed Rig-tmp Rig-tmp of the local fish and game association, general chairman on arrangements. The weather in the cany on is ideal for an outing and everyone every-one is Invited to jinn wit'n their entire families at tins year' event. As a preliminary to what in expected to be the biggest outing out-ing sponsored by the organization, organiza-tion, kida of the town will be entertained at a hig free-for-all fish grab on Main street Saturday Satur-day noon. The time has been arranged for noon so that all may see the show which is expected ex-pected to be one of the best for some time. Hundreds of fish will be turned loose and prizes are to be awarded to the youngsters who catches the most fish and the one who catches the largest. All are urged to cova. dressed appropriate to catch Mg fish with their hands. Saturday night a splendid program pro-gram will be presented under the direction of Merlin Taylor. Special Spe-cial music and other numbers j for the entertainment lor all i will be featured around a huge ! bonfire. The program is ached- : uled to begin at s p. m. lovery- i one will be invited hi renu'in in ,j camp overnight. Camping facdi- ties at the park are reported to be excellent anil play equipment, stoves and other conveniences will add to the comfort of campers. camp-ers. There will be prizes given lor the best camp and the largest larg-est family in camp. Target shooting, trap Shoot- ing, horse shoe pitching, lall games, races and other conipeti- j tive evenls for children and adults will be held on Sunday. A total of about $250 in prizes will be distributed among the winners win-ners of various evenls. The prizeri have been contributed by local business concerns and also purchased pur-chased by the local fish and game association, committee members of which are determined to assure as-sure everyone a good lime.
