S. church is expected to speak on Wednesday unless unforeseen un-foreseen events interfere. Governor Gover-nor Henry H. Blood will speak as part of the regional meeting of the Utah State Conference of Social So-cial Work, which is being held in connection with Leadership Week. Dr. John A. Widtsoe, of the L. D. S. Council of the Twelve, will address the general assembly Monday, as well as lecturing to the Genealogy section. President A. W. Ivins will discuss "Great Characters I have Known," on Tuesday. Hon. Nephi L. Morris will speak on the topic of "Character "Char-acter in the Business World," on Thursday. Men and women interested in individual and community development devel-opment annually come by thousands thou-sands from many parts of western America to attend Leadership Week. This, year is the 13th annual an-nual week. The theme is "Character "Char-acter in the Modern World." Grand opera as a sound film will be a feature of the evening entertainments. "Pagliacci" produced pro-duced by the San Carlo Grand Opera company will be shown Tuesday night in College hall. Other entertainments include the "Get Acquainted" dance, a debate between the B. Y. U. and U.S.A.C. a concert by the "Y" symphony orchestra, and a concert by the "Y" concert band and the Ladies' Glee club. |
