Harmer of Mapleton, received re-ceived second place in the finals of the Rotary oratorical contest held in devotional exefcises at the Brigham Young university, Friday. All speeches dea)t with some phase of the subject, "International Good Will." -Mr. Haimer was defeated de-feated by Wm. Mai tin. . of Provof Judges for ttye contest were Prof. Christen Jensen, Attorney Stanley Dun ford, and Attorney Martin Lar-sen. Lar-sen. - Preliminaries for the contest were held Wednesday, January 14, when the two finalists, Louis Harmer and William Martin were selected.
