Packard dance revue at the high school next Tuesday evening. Miss Grant will do some of the most difficult toe movements, move-ments, it is stated. DANCE REVUE PROMISES TO BE BIG EVENT Concluding a seven weeks', course of strenuous study and daily rehearsals, re-hearsals, Tess C. Packard wilt pie-sent pie-sent her dance students in a revue next Tuesday evening at 8 p. m. in the Springville high school auditorium. audi-torium. This is the fourth annual midsummer dance foily to be presented pre-sented here by Mrs. Packard. Not only will a large group of Spiingville students appear in the entertainment but a number from Spanish Fork will also participate. As a special feature of the evening's eve-ning's program, Mrs. Packard will appear in the opening scene, employing em-ploying Samuel Jepperson's original orig-inal composition, "Sweetheart of the Dawn." A part from the opera "Bobby" composed by Clair Johnson, John-son, high school music supervisor, will also feature the program. Miss Evelyn Miner is accompanist. Besides much of her own creation, cre-ation, Mrs. Packard is using considerable con-siderable material which she seemed se-emed in her summer dance course at the McCune school, Salt Lake City, in developing the theme of the performance. With more advanced students and better equipment, the entertainment enter-tainment promises to excel those of previous years. It is dividide into three acts, each presenting a unique and clever performance in itself. Elaborate and definitely designed de-signed costumes with, corresponding correspond-ing lights and scenic effects will add much to the entertainment, it is stated. The general outline of the program pro-gram includes: Act 1, Cycle of the Day; Act II, Dance Variety or Skit Memoi ics, (a) nature dances, (b) Egyptain Court scene; Act III, Top Classic, including novelty, burlesque bur-lesque and lap dances. Losides the legular dance performance, per-formance, Samuel Jepperson and Margaret Jepperson, well known r.iu :icians of iJiovo will appear in a musical program; Helen Palfrey-man Palfrey-man will furnish a vocal solo; Reed Christcnsen, Ray Alleman and Itex liulhei land, a sa;cphone trio.
