Tt is a physical impossibility, to hnnd'e this great mass of mail matter mat-ter pfflcTently and nromntlv within a few days. Therefore it becomes nrmarent, to assure delivery of the Christmas presents, cards, and liters li-ters hy Christmas dav, the public should PHOn AND MAT.T, FAR I Y. Stinposc thev do mail their enf's Greetings, and letters to relatives friends, and loved ones, a week or ten, days before Christmas, according accord-ing to the distance, it will not-only make certain that they are received on or before Chrihtmas day, but It will be a great aid to the postal service. Addressing parcels on more than one side is discouraged. Written matter in the nature of nnrson?.! correspondence cn not be inclosed in narcels. but uddross and. -return address should be put inside the parcel for identification when outside out-side address is lost or torn off. Attention is renewed to previous efforts to discourage the use of small or odd-sized greeting cardr and envelopes, which practice is so costly to the postal service.
