Show HIGH SCHOOL NOTES The competitive school play "Adam and Eva" by Guy 'Bolton and George Middleton was read before be-fore a group of 75 students Tuesday, Tues-day, Oct. 18, by Miss Naomi Broad-bent, Broad-bent, head of the speech department of the school. All students are eligible to try out for parts. Try-outs Try-outs will be held Thursday at 4 p. m. The paly will be produced Nov. 18. Industrial vacation will be observed ob-served from Oct. 21 to Oct. 31 Teachers will attend U. E. A. in Salt Lake, Oct. 27, 28 and 29. Reading circle certificates will be awarded Friday aC junior high school assembly to the following students who completed the seventh grade state reading circle requirements require-ments last year: Helen Shepherd, Beth Evans, Moyra Ullock,, Melva Burrows, Lester Mason, , Mildred Mason, Bess Talmage, Robert Gab-bitas, Gab-bitas, Barbara Gudmundson, Edwin Tucker, Rosie Bleggi, Fern Black-ett, Black-ett, Madeline Greenlee, Walter Robinson, Rob-inson, Carol Condie, Delia Baxter, Glen Law, Faun Phillips, Verna Wing, Myrtle Madsen, Lucille Thorpe, Pauline Clyde, Jeanne Neill, Vlrla Whiting, Joe Pluniblee, Eric Boorman, Elizabeth Newman, Mary Huntington. Wilms Jcppson, director of physical physi-cal education and health for girls at the B. Y. U. will talk in senior high school assembly Friday at 11 a. m. Miss Jeppson has traveled and studied extensively throughout Europe Eu-rope during the past year and will speak of the youth movement of Europe with special reference to health and physical education activities ac-tivities of the countries she has visited. . |
