Show IDEAL SCREEN TEAM COMING IN GREAT FILM "Ideal starring teanV'is what the theatrical and screen world said when it was announced that Slyvia Sidney, wistful, dark-eyed star of "City Streets." "Ladies of the Big House," "An American Tragedy" and -.'-Madame Butterfly;" and George Raft, smooth, slightly sinister sin-ister star of "Night After Night," I'Undercover Man," and "If I Had a Million," were to play together to-gether in a picture. The film is c "Pick Up," an adaptation adap-tation of Vina Delmar's Red Book story, a B. P. SchuLberg production, which comes to the Rivoli Theatre Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Both players hail from New York City; both share many characteristics char-acteristics of background and tern-perniament tern-perniament in common; both emigrated emi-grated to Hollywood from Mew York stage. Their purchase pur-chase of a garage in tlie suburbs sets them well on the road to prosperity. pros-perity. But when Raft begins paying pay-ing attention to a wealthy socialite who is floored by his charm, Sylvia rushes to a lawyer; finds rfho can easily secure an annulment of her marriage to her convict-husband. Hut the very day the papers come Ihrough, her husband appears on the scene, fiesn from a jail break in which he has killed a guard, and feverish in his determination to get revenge noi only on Sylvia, but on Raft.
