Show Labor Okchs Louf bourow SALT LAKE CITY, Oct. 4 W.P.I Support for the candidacy of Representative Rep-resentative F. C. Ioufbourow for reelection re-election to congress from the Second Sec-ond congressional district was pledged by the local trade unions at a meeting of the Salt Lake Building Trades council. A resolution urging support of Representative Loufbourow was passed at the meeting, copies of which will be sent to other trade unions. Indorsement of Representative Loufbourow, it was said, followed receipt of a statement frorn M. J. McDonough, president of the building build-ing trades department in Washington, Washing-ton, D. C. Mr. McDonough commended com-mended the Utah representative for his outstanding efforts to obtain "proper and lawful" wage levels for workmen employed on the Salt Lake postoffice addition and the veterans' hospital. The Salt Lake council also went on record at the Monday nlight meeting as commending Governor Dern for the recent change in the state banking department. |
