Show SIX KIWANIS CLUBS GATHER Spanish Fork Club Is Host To ' Inter-Club Meeting Held There. SPANISH FORK Kiwanis clubs from Piovo, Springville, Spanish Fork, Nephi, Price and Helper, joined Friday night in an enthusiastic enthusi-astic inter-club meeting at the Spanish Fork City pavilion. President Presi-dent Wallace W. Brockbunk of the local club was in charge of the meeting, and Postmaster David T. Lewis of Spanish Fork was toast-master. toast-master. . F. J. Faux directed the musical program which included selections by the Lieurance club, communty singing of Kiwanis songs; instrumental instru-mental selections by Mr. and Mrs. Max Thomas, on the trumpet and violin, with piano accompaniment by Miss Blanche Jones. Frank Swenson played a saxophone selection. selec-tion. The principal talk of the evening was given by District Governor Frank D. Mumford, who gave a stirring talk on "The Principles and Ideals of Kiwanis." Lieutenant Governor R. Vaughn of the southern south-ern division gave a talk on the activities of that district and Lieutenant Lieu-tenant Governor F. Egan of the northern division told of the activities activi-ties in his district. President Brockbank welcomed the visitors in behalf of the local club. There were 160 present including wives of the menlbers and visitors. During Dur-ing the evening a toast was given by a representative of each club and during the program" each club responded with a stunt or entertainment enter-tainment feature. Dancing completed complet-ed the evening's entertainment. |
