VISITS ILL SISTER Ernest Harmer went to Ogden Tuesday ,'to be with his sister, Mrs. Ann Cornwaite, who underwent a major operation that day. SKLKCTED AS QUEEN Miss CHclen Palfreyman was selected se-lected from the Fourth ward and Miss Jessee Packard from the Third ward to represent then-wards then-wards tis queen at the annual M. I. A. grei;n and gold hall to be given in the opera house February 8. The otiher two wards of Springville will select their queens next Tuesday Tues-day evening. M RS. MENDENHALL HERE Mrs. Ann Mendenhali of Salt i Lake, formerly of this city, visited last week with relatives and friends here. VISIT IN LOGAN Mr. and Mrs. Edward Clyde have returned to their home after spending spend-ing three days in Logan as guests of Mr. and Mrs. G. Dewey Clyde. While there they attended a banquet ban-quet for the staff of the Experiment Experi-ment Station, as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde, and were also guests of Charles Sorenson of the U. A. C, who was formerly Utah county crop inspector. In compliment to Mrs. V. S. Wilson, Wil-son, a nicely arranged dinner was given Saturday evening by Mrs. C. R. Jones assisted by Mrs. Ncphi Gledhill.
