Show BEET1EN RUIN COUNTY ROADS "Utah county farmers are ruin-! ruin-! ing those roads that they need the most," declared J. W. Gillman, chairman of the Utah county com- , i missionary, Tuesday. j "It has become an all too com-mon com-mon practice among the farmeia in this county to deposit the dirt that has been shaken from the beets on the county roads near the beet dumps. Many of these roads are now covered with an inch to three inches of black dirt, which during the dry season makes so much dust that people living along the road can hardly stand it. During the wet or rainy season the roads become be-come slick and dangerous. Farmers Farm-ers should realize just what damage dam-age they are doing, and unless this practice is discontinued immediately," immediate-ly," declared Mr. Gillman, "diastic action will have to be taken." |
