Show COUNTY FARM BUREAUMEETS Board of Directors Lays Plans For Activity In Present Year Tlie boiird of diwetors of the T't;il) County Farm Bureau met Monday at tbe city nnd country Imildintf. The -laying of plans for Ihe year's work, and a program for ithe county activity were the chief objects of the -meeting. Taxation proMi-ms and boys' work were two topics which were particularly to be stressed. The injustice of the present tax system in Utah to the farmers was brought out. and the state Bureau's stand for aciiauge of method of taxation was heartily endorsed by the Utah county body. The boyrs club work in agriculture, to be used in connection with high school clubs, also is a subject of exceptional importance im-portance to the Farm Bureau. Projects and project leaders are as follows: taxation. C. L. Warnick; i vestoek a nd da i r yi ng, A. G. Keetch : poultry, Hans J. Iiigtrnp : roads. Bay L. Alston. President William II. Nelson was selected as the representative of the county body to the state meeting meet-ing which will lie held in Halt Lake Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The ladies' department of the couutr farm bureau will be under the direction of Mrs. Mary West-ring West-ring and, Mrs. I von D. Gore. |
