Show PAYSON WOMAN DIESAT HOME (Special to The Herald) PAYSON, Oct. 28 Mrs. Keturah Richardson, wife of Shadrach Richardson, Rich-ardson, died at her home in the First ward after an illness of two weeks. She was horn in Yorkshire, England, Eng-land, on Dec. 11, 1838. Her parents, James and Sarah Simpkins Hand, wore converted to the L. D. S. church, while Keturah was in her infancy. The oldest son, George Hand, emigrated emi-grated to tT"ah, expecting to send for the family later. The parents and two children died in England within two weeks. Joseph and Keturah Ke-turah emigrated in 1873. She lived with friends until her marriage ro Shadrach Richardson on May 30, 1875. They resided in Benjamin until 7 years ago, when fhey moved to Payson. Mr. Richardson has been an invalid for almost 20 years and perfectly helpless for 10 years. Mrs. Richardson cared for him cm-slantly cm-slantly until her illness. To them were born twelve children, seven of whom survive, as follows : Mrs. Adeline R. Hone and Mrs. Delila Tugal of Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Nellie Nel-lie Schaerrer, Mrs. Ivy Francom. Mrs. Teressa Loveless, Joseph and Oren Richardson of Payson. She is also survived by one sister and three brothers, Mrs. Nellie Dexter and Ilynim Hand of Salt Lake: George Hand of Sandy and Joseph , Hand of Benjamin. 1 Funeral services will be held Fri-, Fri-, day at 2 p. m. in the Fourth ward chapel, with Bishop A. R. Wilson of the First ward in churge. |
