Nielsen, Jim Thompson and Alma Miner succeeded in getting their cars home Thursday after having hav-ing been stalled in the snoiv drifts on Indian Summit for over a week. The men started home from the reservation about two weeks ago and upon reaching Indian Summit had to abandon their cars on account of the deep snow and walk nearly 20 miles before vouching their homes. They returned Monday to tin scene of the heavy snow and with much difficulty succeeded in getting the ears pulled out anil home Thursday. All members are urged to be present. A nicely arranged card party was given Thursday evening when Mrs. E. E. Knudsen entortaiend the members of the Saturday afternoon Bridge club. The members and guests who numbered thirteen enjoyed en-joyed a delicious dinner at the Harrison Har-rison hotel at which a color scheme of pink and white was carried out. Pink carnations centered the table and pink and white butterfly dancing danc-ing girls were used as place cards. After dinner the time was spent with bridge, Mrs. II. T. Reynolds Jr., winning high score club prize. Mrs. Eugene Onkes guest prize, Mrs. J. II. Gardner guest draw- prize, and Mrs. S. C. Whittakor club draw-prize. draw-prize. Members included : Mrs. II. T. The officers and leathers of the Second ward Primary entertained at a 'party at the home of Mrs. Jane Stewart Wednesday evening in honor hon-or of Mrs. Stewart and Mrs. Julia Anthon who recently resigned from Primary work. Each lienor guest was presented with a little token of appreciation from the officers and teachers and which consisted of a book of Edgar Guests poems.
