Show FOISi) AT T Feature Picture Kodak Club and B. Y'ser Club Are Organized. Two new clubs, a feature picture kodak club and a ciub to promote extemperaneous speaking, were or-g.'ini.ed or-g.'ini.ed at the Erigham Young university uni-versity Tuesday. It was club meeting meet-ing clay and all ot the old clubs met to reorganize for the year and the stimulus brought forth these two new limbs on the organization tree of the university. The officers of the Feature Pic ture Kodak club are: Rulon Bid-dulph Bid-dulph of Provo, president: Mark Allen, Provo, secretary. The purpose pur-pose of the club is to stimulate the collection of photographs which have news value, or which have value as special features for magazines maga-zines and newspapers. The club is the outgrowth of the class in magazine maga-zine writing, taught by Professor Harrison Ii. Merrill. The name of the club which fosters fos-ters forensic activities, is the B. Y'ser club. The officers are Asael C. Lnmhert of St. Anthony, Idaho, president and Sherman Christensen, of Manti, secretary. The aim of this society is to gtve each member of the club training in presiding, extemporaneous speaking and debate. de-bate. There are, according to the announcement of Mr. Hafen. debating debat-ing manager, about -45 members of the freshman class alone who are specially interested in debating and related aetivities. The club will therefore meet with a generous response re-sponse in the way of membership. |
