Show SPRINGVILLE MAN INJURED Don O. Ashcrnfh of Springville, engineer on the D. & It. G. W. railroad rail-road suffered a badly mangled foot in a train accident at Helper last Tuesday mornins:. He was immediately taken to the .St. Marks hospital in Salt . Lake City where he is now under the doctors doc-tors care. Mr. A shorn ft was out on the side of his engine doing some oiling when some lone cars got loose and came down a steep grade running into the rear end of Ashcraft's train. The entire train was forced ahead about six feet. As Mr. Asheraft was jarred off the engine his foot was caught inthe driving machinery of the wheels as the engine moved forward. The entire train had to be moved back before his foot could be ' released. re-leased. - Accordingto reports the toes and some of the bones in the foot were .badly mashed. |
