Show I MAPLE TON NEWS Marie and Clara Jensen are visiting visit-ing at Winter Quarters with relatives. rela-tives. Mr. and Mrs. D. B. Welch spent Monday and Tuesday in Salt Luke City. They camef back by way of Park City and Provo canyon and were accompnnied ' by Mrs. Gertrude Ger-trude Welch who will be their guest for a few days. Mrs. J. C. Peterson- sepnt ' Monday Mon-day afternoon with her daughter, Mrs. J. C. Nielson of Springville. Mrs. Roy Whitmore of Denver, Colorado, is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Atkien. Mr. and Mrs. Horace Perry motor-eod motor-eod to Mammoth on Saturday. They were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dudley. Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Hogan, Mrs. C. H. Bigger and Mrs. G. H. Welch were the Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. D. B. Welch. Aris Bird accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Albert Southwiek motored down from Salt Lake City Saturday and spent the day with Mr. and Mrs. V. It. Bird and August Peterson. Miss Lillian Bird spent. Saturday ancl Sunday at Payson with Margaret Mar-garet and Edna Hill. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie B. Bontz are the proud parents of a baby boy born Sunday morning. Mother and babe are doing fine. Leslie hasn't decided what song he had better learn next. Carol Watters was quite badly injured in-jured last Monday afternoon while hauling hay. His horses became frightened and knocked him down injuring his leg and ankles. Mr. and Mrs. Loren Nielson announce an-nounce the arrival of a boy. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Johnson are the proud parents of a new baby boy. Mack and Harvey A. Witney who have a building contract at Gunnison, Gunni-son, spent Sunday with their families fami-lies at Mapleton. Mrs. Ruby Sanders of Helper whose husband was killed in the Castle Gate disaster, is visiting in Mapleton with her sister, Mrs. Hazel Johnson. A |
