Show K1WANIANS OF SPRINGVILLE Second Year of Springville Club Marked by Banquet. In commemoration of the second .voir of receiving their n.itioitrrl chnvter tho members of the Sprins-ville Sprins-ville Kiwiinis club together with their wives ji ml partners turned out 100 per cent strong nnd participated in the most elaborate banquet and ball of the season. The event took place "Wednesday evening, February Febru-ary 0. The banquet was served in the art. room of the high school building and the hall followed the banquet in the high school auditorium. audi-torium. The four walls of the banquet hall were lavishly decorated with American flags. In the center of tbe wall behind the master of ceremonies cere-monies hung the picture of Wood-row Wood-row Wilson. The tables were beau- tifully decorated with carnations of various colors. For one minute all 1 present stood in silence nnd faced tbe picture of President Wilson, after which the invocation was offered of-fered by Ralph Smart. Dr. John R. Anderson was master of ceremonies, and Ray L. Done acted ns toastmaster. The eom-munitv eom-munitv singing was led by M. E. Crandall, Jr. The attendance prize was awarded to Mrs.'J. F. Wingnte. Mr. nnd Mrs. Henry Gardner. Dr. and Mrs. Joseph Hughes and Mr. and Mrs. Wui. Tolliurst, all ol Spanish Fork, were introduced as guests. The program rendered was as follows: fol-lows: Orchestra. Orpheus Players; dancing. Miss Vesta Anderson nnd Miss Helen Mendeuhall: address of welcome, President M. O. Packard; Klwanis in 1023. Past. President C. U. Jones; selections by the Kiwanis quartet composed of M. E. Crandall. Jr.. Elmo Coffman. Wm. N. Grooms and Ralph Snelson: toast. "Kiwanis Ladies." G. L. Barron : toast, "What We Think of Kiwauians," Mrs. Mark Cook; 'cello solo. Melvin Done; "Kiwanis Sentiments," Lieutenant Lieu-tenant Governor J. E.
