Show Funeral Services for Mrs. Matson Funeral services were held in tbe Mapleton ward chapel Monday afternoon af-ternoon for Mrs. Elizabeth Matson. wife of George B. Matson who died at the familyl home in Mapleton I Saturday evening August 23, after a long lingering illness. The floral offering was profuse. Kichard Bird of the ward bishopric-was bishopric-was in charge. The ward choir, furnished the music. Special musical musi-cal numbers were a selection from the Mapleton male quartet, composed com-posed of Carol Carrol and Howard Waters, Glen Holley and Austin Iloutz and a vocal solo by Elmer The invocation was offered by L. E. Ilarmer nnd the benediction bv Bishop Wm. T. Tew. ' The speakers were E. M. Snow. Bishop J. F. Bringhurst and Bishop I Lovell Mendenhall. The interment was in the i-.ver-green cemetery under the direction of A. Y. Wheeler. Mrs. Matson is survived by her husband, three sons and one daughter daugh-ter Wm. Matson of Glcnwood priir's Colo. ; John Matson of Salt L-lke Citv. Afton Matson of Mapleton. Maple-ton. and' .Mrs. Ella May Petrie of p-ivson also the following brothers ind sisters: John nnd Afton Waters of liigbv, Idaho; Wm. Waters of Bingham, Sarah Waters and Mrs. 'Mercy Penv of Provo, Mrs. Esther iloutz of Mapleton and Hyrum Waters of Springville. |
