Show - i .:JE PROGRAM BEING PLANNED FOR FINAL DAY Utah Kiwanis Clubs to Be Guests of Local Clubmen Next Thursday Eve. The fifth annual national art exhibit ex-hibit will close Friday, April 30, after bavins; attracted the attention of thousands of artists and lover? of art who have been thrilled with the splendor of the V.ijil exhibition. Dr. Franklin S. Harris, president of the Brigham Yonng University, was chosen as the principal sivakor of the occasion, but owing to very urgent business calling him elsewhere else-where at that time, it is stated that the committee will find it necessary lo make another choice. President I. K. Maycock of the Kolub slake residency, and a member of the hoard of directors of the Springville Spring-ville high school art association, will j accept the pictures in behalf of the association. A delightful program, in which some of the best musical talent available will participate, is now-being now-being planned. It is expected that ilio event will be one of the most enjoyable of the entire season. As another fitting climax to a successful exhibit, the members of the Springville Kiwanis club will play the part of the host to the Kiwanis clubs of Utah, Thursday evening. April 20, according to John It. -Mendcuball, president of the local club. Already a large number of these clubs have accepted Ihe local club's invitation, and It Is expected that more than two hundred hun-dred of these Ttiih boosters will break bread with the Springville clubmen. Hon. Clarence ('. Neslen, mayor of Sail Lake Cliy. will be the principal prin-cipal speaker on this occasion. An appropriate program for this occasion is now being outlined by committees from the Springville club. |
