George Hone, a resident uf I'tah county for more than sixty years died this week from the infirmities of old age. lie was at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Eliza McClellan. Funeral services will he held in Benjamin and interment will he in the Payson city cemetery. 1 Mr. Hone was born near Coventry. j England, on January 21, IS 10. S. church, they crossed the plains with ox team and lived at Provo until 1S70 when the family moved to Benjamin, lie I has been a resident at Pay son and Benjamin since that time. Thirteen children were born to IMr. and Mrs. Hone. His widow and six children survive as follows: Mrs. Eliza Hawkins Haw-kins McGlellan of Payson: Thomas Hone, Idike Shore; Win. II. Hone,! Pleasant Grove ; Lillie Hawkins: and Louie Shepard, Benjamin;! Laurence Hone of Provo. There are three brothers, Henry Hone of Ben-, jainin; David Hone of Long Bench and Caleb Hone, Idaho. |
