Mr. and Mrs. Reed Spafford of Los Angeles spent a few days of the past week with relatives and friends here and in Provo. Mrs. Spafford was formerly Miss Leona Reynolds of this city. A pleasant afternoon was spent Saturday by a number of young folks when Mrs. Earl Condie entertained en-tertained in compliment to hor daughter Ruth whose sixth birthday birth-day occurred on that day. Games conducted by the hostess were played and a program in charge of Miss Esther Maycock proved an interesting feature of the party. A birthday cake holding six candles with a dainty luncheon was served j to twenty-two little friends. The honor guest received many pretty gifts from those present. The members of the Home Culture Cul-ture club of this city will meet Friday Fri-day afternoon at the home of Mrs. Merrill Eldridge. An interesting program is arranged for the occasion oc-casion and all members are asked to be present. Mrs. Gertrude Kay and family returned to their home Sunday after spending tho Thanksgiving holidays with her daughter and family Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Boyer. |
