Barker, executive sec- retary of the alumni association of the University of Utah, Is in Provo foday in the Interest of a Ctnh County Alumni Club which is contemplated con-templated for organization here. Mr. Barker reports that tliere are more than six hundred former students of the University of Utah living in the .:ounty and that there is considerable consider-able interest and enthusiusm already al-ready alive in behalf of the proposed propos-ed organization. , Every person in Utnh County who has ever attended the University Uni-versity is eligible to membership ,ln the club, and is urged to attend the meeting which will be held on Vednesday, September 0(h, at 8:30 IP. m., at the Provo Junior High Isciiool auditorium. A member of the faculty of the University will he the chief speaker of the evening, i The organization, according to jNIr. Barker, of the Utah County Club will add another link to the chain of such clubs now being organized or-ganized throughout the country, and prospects for u real live chapter chap-ter in this county are most encouraging. |
